Changes to the Board

Following the resignation of Daniel Chapman and the continuing ill-health of our Treasurer, Alain Schmalz, there has been a reorganisation of the Board.

I am very pleased to announce that the Board has a new Vice President - Chiel Huijskes. Chiel (Tengu) will be holding this office until our next elections.

It also gives me great pleasure to welcome Dean Marshall to the Board. Dean has generously accepted an invitation to serve as a Special Director for the remainder of this term.

There have been a number of issues facing this Board and having a couple of members effectively out of the loop has resulted in heavy workloads for those remaining members of the Board. Everyone has risen to the challenge and they have been doing an amazing job. I won't bore you with the myriad of details the Board deals with each day, but you will be getting a full accounting in the end of year report. So, for now you just need to take my word for it that your elected representatives are doing a lot of work for Mambo, and they are doing it extremely well.

My heartfelt thanks go out to all Board members for a job well done and a commitment that you are each keeping. And special thanks to Chiel and Dean - you know what you are taking on and are doing it anyway. Thanks all!
